Project Club - July 2015 ¤ Main Card ¤

You will all be aware by now that this is the very last Nina Crafts project club and judging from some of your comments many of you have really enjoyed it as much as I have.

I feel as if I've been around forever, starting in the Dimension Fourth days.  I've seen lots of changes and meet lots of wonderful people and feel sad that it has now come to an end.

Nina will still be doing her designing so it's not completely over, stamps will be popping up on the website so keep an eye out for those.  As you will also be aware the manufacturing side of Nina Crafts is going from strength to strength showing they are moving with the times, carrying on with what they do best and I wish them every success.

Thank you all very much and here is the main card:

Materials Required
Project Club Stamps and Card Kit
Acrylic Block
Memento – Tuxedo Black
Foam Tape or Pads
Double Sided Tape
Silicone Glue

Cut the coloured card so it is slightly smaller than the base card.  Cut the white card so it is slightly smaller than the coloured card.
Masks - Divide the sticky notes into two lots of three.  Onto the first stack of three, stamp the outline of one of the butterflies.  Stamp the other butterfly outline onto the other stack, make sure that the stamped edge covers the sticky part of the notes and ignore the antenna.  Cut out the butterflies, you will end up with three of each of the outlines. Cut off and ignore the antenna of both butterflies.  Using the white card and the black ink, stamp your first butterfly, anywhere on the card, then stamp the inner bit of the butterfly.  Cover with your sticky note mask.  Stamp the other butterfly next to and overlapping the sticky note, stamp the inner section of the butterfly before masking.  Continue randomly stamping until all the white card is covered, moving the sticky note masks as and when necessary.  Colour the all the butterflies, if there are any spaces in between the butterflies colour them a dark grey.
I have put the photographs I took while doing the above and put them in the little video, this should make more sense.
This is the coloured background.
Colour the piece of ribbon.
Matt the butterfly background onto the black card using double sided tape before attaching a piece of ribbon down the side.  Using double sided tape attach to the card front.
Using the remaining piece of coloured card, cut so it measures 8cm x 5cm.  Using the remaining piece of white card, cut so it measures 7.5cm x 4.5cm.  Onto this white card stamp the sentiment using the black ink.
Using the same ProMarker as used for the ribbon colour the edge of the card.
Matt onto the coloured card using double sided tape.  Attach to the card front using foam tape or pads.  With the remaining ribbon make a bow and attach to the card front with silicone glue.
To finish attach one gem to each corner of the sentiment.

Happy Crafting
