Love

updated 17/03/2014:  Dimension Stamps have now changed their name to Nina Crafts.

All stamps used are from Dimension Stamps

For this card I used the 'Tufties in Love' mini stamp set ref: NC026.  I have a paper/card/vellum stack that I've had in my stash for ages, it actually fell on the floor as I was looking for something else, and one of the sheets fell out, it was the lilac vellum.  So I cut it up into 10cm x 4cm strips and added it to the lilac pearlescent paper that's also in the stack. I used double sided tape on the inside of the strips (this is hidden under the topper) and added some small lilac butterfly brads to each of the corners of the vellum.  I stamped the Tufties with Memento - Elderberry ink and coloured them using my Pro/Flex Markers.  I used an EK Success punch for the edges of the card and paper using the lilac pearlescent paper to matt the topper, which I attached using some foam tape.

Well Done

updated 17/03/2014:  Dimension Stamps have now changed their name to Nina Crafts.

I used the 'Tufty Wishes' ref: NC025 and the 'Occasions' ref: NC022 mini stamp sets for this card.  The background paper is from a class card we did a little while ago, I also used it on Tuftys dress.  The patterned paper is from a design pack I have in my stash, it's from Dovecraft, I tend to use it in bits as it's a little too bold for my taste.  I used an EK Success border punch.  The flowers are from some little punches from Docrafts as are the leaves.  I used a Spellbinders - Lables Ten die for the sentiment and the main shape which I ran through a Cuttlebug embossing folder.  To finish off I used some of my decorative stones, I've had them for years, they are actually used for vases when flower arranging, I stuck them on the corners and the middle of the flowers with silicone glue.

Tufty Wishes

updated 17/03/2014:  Dimension Stamps have now changed their name to Nina Crafts.

All stamps used are from Dimension Stamps

For this card I used the 'Tufty Wishes' mini set ref: NC025.  I stamped Tufty using VersaFine - Onyx Black onto a piece of shaped card, this card is a Spellbinders die and I have a drawer with loads of different shapes, these are from a cutting session I had with a couple of friends of mine, Rita (Paperfolder) and Sue.  We took some card round to Rita's and used each other's dies, having a really good chat at the same time lol.  I coloured Tufty in using Pro/Flex Markers, but did a little paper piecing on her dress and bow.  A little while ago my husband was cleaning his glasses using one of those screen wipes, he had left it on his desk and it had started drying out and was about to throw it away, when I noticed it had a nice texture.  I let it dry completely before I used some of my sprays and let it dry again before stamping on it.  So basically this card is a left over card, the corner paper and blue matts are left over from a class session, the leaves in the corners are left over from another card, the mirri is a random piece of A4 I had and don't know where from and have never seen any since.  So to finish off I used some buttons for the corners.

Red Rose

updated 17/03/2014:  Dimension Stamps have now changed their name to Nina Crafts.

All stamps used are from Dimension Stamps

For this card I used the 'Rose' stamp ref: 0701056a, the rose on the stamp is solid so I used my Memento - Lady Bug ink pad and then used a Memento - Cottage Ivy pen to colour the leaves on the stamp before adding it to the Spellbinder - Stately Circles die shape.  Trying to be as quick as possible I heat embossed with some clear embossing powder.  I used the 'Popular Phrases' mini stamp set ref: NC023 for the sentiment and stamped it onto a Spellbinders - Fancy Tags Two shape.  For the green shiny background I used some of the stain board and stamped the feather from the July Project Club set, on it using VersaMark and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  The patterned paper is from the Papermania Collection and I used a Spellbinders - A2 Curved Borders One to cut the wavy bottom section.  To finish I used some gems from MeiFlower.

Happy Birthday

I really do like the monochromatic colours, this black and white card was just going to stay those two colours but I added a little glitter and it gave the green tint to the letters.  I used an EK Success border punch on the white card leaving enough room for the letters, which are the 'Plain Alphabet' ref: 1801012a and the 'Plain Lower Case Alphabet' ref: 1801014a.  Before I cut them out I thought I'd do a bit of doodling so do the zentangle patterns on each letter trying to keep a light then a darker pattern every alternate one.  The little flourishes are glittered and I got them from Create and Craft, they were a sale item and I thought 'why not' lol, they are really nice and come in different colours.  I had some little ribbon roses in my stash so used those and stamped the sentiment onto a Spellbinders - Framed Tags One shape.  I used some Glossy Accents on the letters and before it dried added the glitter.  To finish I added some black gems to two of the corners.

Butterfly

updated 17/03/2014:  Dimension Stamps have now changed their name to Nina Crafts.

I raided my glitter box for this card and used some of those colours I wouldn't have normally used, like the bright yellow and the luminous orange.  I got those from my friend Rita (Paperfolder) and the others from Glitter Magic.  The butterfly stamp is called 'Flutterby Flourish' ref: NC035.  I first using VersaFine - Onyx Black and heat embossed with detail clear embossing powder, giving me a nice raised edge to glitter up to.  I  used a ProMarker to add a shadow all around the image before I added the glitter using a Quickie Glue pen.  The sentiment is from a little set of stamps called 'Party Tufty' ref: NC027.  The background paper is from the Papermania Capsule Collection - Heather Paper Pack and I used a Woodware corner punch on the corners.
Thanks for looking J

Good Luck

updated 17/03/2014:  Dimension Stamps have now changed their name to Nina Crafts.

For this card I have used the following stamps:
'Occasions' ref: NC022
'Sail Boat' ref: 1701001a
'Postcard' ref: 1808009a
'World Map' I couldn't find this on the website but if you need one lol just give Faye a ring and she will know which one you mean.
I stamped using VersaFine Vintage Sepia and heat embossed with detail clear embossing powder.  To give an aged look I used the Distress Ink s - Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap and Vintage Photo.  I used the Spellbinders - Curved Rectangles for the main shapes, so onto the largest one I stamped the map then used a sticky note masked it off before stamping the postcard for the background.  Onto the smallest rectangle I stamped the sail boat, then stamped the sentiment from the 'Occasions' stamp set.  I used the Antique Linen on all the stamped pieces then used the Frayed Burlap just on the edges, it still needed a little more so I used the Vintage Photo on the very edge, blending it well to match the brown card.  I also made sure that I used a bit of kitchen roll to gently rub off any stray bits of ink on all of the stamped images.  I used my Faux Screw Brads from Creative Expression on some of the corners once the stamped card had been matted.  The main piece was attached to the cream base card with foam tape, the boat and the sentiment has half foam tape and half double sided tape, to make sure they were all on the same level once fixed to the card front.  The map didn't look right it needed something, so I stamped it out again and cut it out once inked then using foam tape to fix it on top of the other flat one.
