Project Club - September 2012 » Birthday Fishes «

Originally this post was from the Dimension Stamps Project Club.  Now the name has change to Nina Crafts, so I thought putting all the posts together would be better and easier to find things.

I really like the Papermania papers out of the Capsule pads, and this one is again out of the Blueberry Pie pad I used it for the background and for the stripped middle. I used the Spellbinders – Labels Ten dies for the shapes and used the M-Bossabilities - Sea Beauty embossing folder from Spellbinders with some Distress Ink – Tumbled Glass. I stamped three fish and three seahorses onto some shrink plastic using StazOn – Ultramarine ink and cut out before colouring with ProMarkers (very carefully and letting the StazOn dry off before doing so). Using VersaFine – Onyx Black I stamped and heat embossed using detail clear embossing powder, a fish and a seahorse and coloured in with the same ProMarkers as on the shrunken ones just reversing the colours. I wanted the coral to match the seahorse so used the Ginger ProMarker on some white card before using a Joy Craft leaf die to cut them out. I attached everything to the card using some silicone glue, added some gems that have been in my stash for ages and finally used some silicone glue to attach the little shell bead to the centre of the coral.
The stamps used for this project are from the September Project Club set from Dimension Stamps.  If you would like to join the Project Club or have a look at any other stamps visit for more details.
