White and Gold Vellum Butterfly

updated 17/03/2014:  Dimension Stamps have now changed their name to Nina Crafts.

I wanted to do a card with the ‘Vintage Fluttering Flourishes’ stamp set ref: 2400063a from Dimension Stamps just using white and gold, but this card has turned out looking a little on the ivory side, it must be because its next to the gold, I’m not complaining it has turned out just how I wanted it.  I used Spellbinder dies – Lacey Circles, Circles, Foliage and Double Ended Tags.  The embossing folders are – Couture Creations – Tied Together and one of the ‘Love’s in the Air’ embossing folders from Cuttlebug.  The rose (Medium Flower Head from Dimension Stamps ref: 0701072a) has been stamped with VersaMark and embossed with detail gold embossing powder, then once cut out it was embossed in the Cuttlebug folder.   The foliage has been made up from the gold mirri, white card and some Vellum.  The butterfly was stamped onto some of the vellum and that’s from my Papermania – Vellum Collection, it’s a silk screen printed vellum and comes in a 6 X 6 pack of 30 sheets, very nice weight.  Once the background had been embossed I left a plain bit at the bottom and used a score board for the single line, before using an EK Success punch along the very bottom.  The tag was made from a new new set of stamps that I haven’t even got a reference code for yet, again from Dimension Stamps.  Loads of tag size words with five word shapes to use as well, I can see me using this set for nearly everything lol, you will need to keep checking the Dimension Stamps website to see when they will be available, well worth getting.
